I had so much fun playing Bethany Byrd in Sean Patrick Whiteford's workshop of Mean Girls: The Musical. Who doesn't love talking about their heavy flow?:) Auditioning for a low budget horror flick soon and putting together my pics and resume to send out to agents!

Ok things should start being interesting again because I'm going on my first audition in 6 months next week!! Been busy with family issues. I did an opera song the other day (operetta really I guess) which is one of only two I know (Unless you count Candide). Ha! I'm still pretty proud of it.

Also I'm kind of obsessed with following this actresses' blog and have been for about a year. Her name is Alexandra Silber and she has a gorgeous voice and went to study acting in Scotland which I am totally envious of. Her blog can be found at: London Still http://alexandrasilber.blogspot.com/

Her voice is just like butter. I just bought her cd and have yet to listen to it but I have a feeling I'm in for a treat!!

Yes, I want to molest his vocal chords. Deal with it. OMG I love his voice so much. I don't even like this song that much but I've listen to it 3 times. 

I went and saw Miranda at The Birdland for like the 6th time last Monday and boy what a treat. Miranda has MAD skillz. If you missed her, she'll be back October 12th. Yes, I already have my ticket:) Also for some reason they took a picture of me and I was like WHAAAA??? but it was so cool anyway. My favorite is the one where Miranda si very Do Re Mi (in fact that's what she was singing). Tell me this, would you NOT pay for Miranda to play Maria in SoM. I think I'm going to start requesting scenes from musicals. You NEED to see her Little Fall of Rain!!!

Been a long time subscriber, but I love this song especially.

Some vocal boo-boos no doubt, but eh, I tried.

The Music Man is up and going well. We have a sold out show this coming Wednesday so that should be exciting! I love having a place to go and people to see nearly every day. What a sense of purpose it gives! I love my cast. My heart is going to break later this month. I hope I'll have another show to look forward to by then!!

I had a callback for this show called Fat Camp @ NYMF this Saturday. It was funny, my long train ride, a 5 minute call and then a long train ride back for the show but sooo worth it. Everyone was extremely nice. I met a woman while waiting for my appt who had played the role we both were auditioning for a few years ago at the reading. She was nice too!  I had never had an appointment callback before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was an interesting experience! I want to do this show soooo badly, but I'm concerned that I didn't do my best because I was so nervous, but you know what? All I can do is move on to the next thing and cross my fingers!!!

The lights are set, the costumes are set, the set is set (pretty much. Some of it moves). Come see The Music Man at Tri-Arts at Sharon Playhouse and support us who have worked our tushies off for the past several weeks. Or for Marion's costume's alone. Seriously our girl Allison (Marian) looks GORGEOUS in all her frocks, and in fact one I am going to steal and amplify using my magnifier to my size. And Harold looks handsome in his blue plaid whanots and whoo haas. And my Pick-A Little Ladies and teens got it going on too. And of course my luva Marcellus looks super keen. And I guess people can sing and dance too. I guess you should come for that reason too.

We had our first run through today, and it actually went pretty well I think! I am scared for tomorrow though for some reason.  OMG Alison and Gavin on till there was you the reprise, I always get teary eyed, and then of course start crying when those kids come in with their instruments. Totes Presh!! Tomorrow we have another long rehearsal (1-9) and then the next day a 12 hour tech which should be fun (I'm only being partly sarcastic).  I wish I could spend more time with the cast!!
